Fiber Lab

1. Can you use fiber evidence to identify its source?
Yes you can use fiber evidence to determine its source. When you are trying to determine the the fiber scientist run different tests to see the similarities and differences in the fibers. They test it in a flame to see how it burns. They also look at the color. The magnifying glass really helps you see the similarities and differences in the fibers.

2. How might this lab be helpful in preparing you for the mission?
The way this will help the mission is it is teaching us how to work with fibers that are found at a crime scene. This lab is teaching us how to work with fivers found at a crime scene and test them. :)
