Bullet Lab

1. How can the angle of impact of a bullet in a wall be used to determine other critical information about the scene of a crime?

Knowing the angle of the impact of the bullet can let forensic scientist know the height of the shooter. Knowing this information well also help Forensic Scientist determine where the bullet was shot from. But you cant always get accurate measurements. My partner and I used a protractor to try to get accurate measurements, yet we were still off on some.

How might this lab be helpful in preparing you for the mission?

2. The way this lab will be helpful is on our mission we may come across bullet wounds/markings and we will need to figure out where the bullet was shot from and how tall the shooter was. Another way this will help us in our mission is it will teach us to be precise with our measurements etc.
